Harvest Broom Workshop

  • Mindful Mercantile 8062 Columbia Road Olmsted Falls, Ohio, 44138 United States (map)

Celebrate the arrival of autumn with an evening of slow, intentional making.

Long before decorative brooms became seasonal décor, they were handcrafted across many cultures as symbols of hospitality, abundance, protection, and the care of home. Inspired by Italian folk traditions and old-world customs, we'll create our own decorative harvest broom using a naturally foraged wooden handle, dried florals, preserved botanicals, and natural twine.

As we craft together, we'll explore the stories behind these traditions and the simple ways they helped mark the changing seasons.

Why We Gather

At Mindful Mercantile, we believe traditions become meaningful when they're shared. Our workshops are designed to slow life down, teach practical skills, and create something beautiful with your own two hands. Whether you leave with a handcrafted piece, new knowledge, or a new friend, our hope is that every gathering inspires you to bring a little more intention home.
